When I think of Mel Cockrell it's his deep convictions to his family & employees at BEK. Mel afforded me many career advances, knowledge & opportunities during my tenure at BEK, for that I will always hold him in my thoughts & heart. Thank you for making a difference in my life journey. I always told Mel he was easy to work for once I got "perfect" down pat. Of course, I never really did and he was an understanding, patient and fair boss always. Mel was more than my boss. He was my friend and we shared many life experiences together. I will miss knowing he is here with us but I know where he will be and that I'll see him again.
