Merle Jean Lundy, of Sunnyvale, Texas, was born July 23, 1934, in Dallas, Texas, to Tracy and Meddie Wadsworth. She passed away on May 25, 2023.
Merle enjoyed arts and crafts, China painting, ceramic painting, oil painting, knitting and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Lloyd Lundy; her parents; her brothers Bill, Tracy, Ed and Earl Wadsworth; and her sisters Lily Kutz, Mary King, Carol Wadsworth and Ruth Turner.
Merle is lovingly survived by: her daughter, Brenda Morales; her son, Bill (Debbie) Lundy; her grandchildren Chris Murray, Kelly Murray, Kerri Cousins, Andrew Morales, Stephen Lundy, Rebekah Parkerson, Elizabeth Williams, Rachel Uechi, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Restland Funeral Home.
Merle's funeral service begins at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Wildwood Chapel in Restland Memorial Park with Randy Langford and Dr. Bill Lundy officiating. Interment follows in the Garden of Compassion at Restland Memorial Park.
