Merline Anderson's Obituary
Merline Anderson, age 98, passed peacefully on February 1, 2023, in her home in Garland, Texas. She was born on June 14th, 1924 in Lakeland, Florida. She married her husband, Andy, in 1945, and they had two children. Merline was a gentle soul and had the most compassionate and loving heart. Throughout her life, she was a full time caregiver for her daughter Jan, who has cerebral palsy.
Merline is preceded in death by her husband Howard “Andy” Anderson and her daughter Jill Anderson Blanton. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Jan Anderson; her son-in-law Bert Blanton; her Grandchildren Hailey Couch and her husband Travis Couch, and Matt Blanton and his wife Emily Blanton; as well as her great-grandchildren Wylie, Warner, and Winslow Blanton, and many other extended family members and friends. Merline leaves her loved ones with unforgettable and beautiful memories.
A service with family and friends will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wildwood Chapel, located at Memorial Park at Restland - 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
