Metta Lorene Moon's Obituary
Metta Lorene Moon, 89, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Monday, May 26, 1930, to her loving and thoughtful parents William and Neva Reavis in Ada, Oklahoma. She married Glenn Moon on July 11, 1958 in Houston, Texas. Metta was a registered nurse, an excellent baker, a dedicated member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church, beloved mother and grandmother.
Metta was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Moon, her parents William and Neva Reavis, her sister Hazel Jaber, her brothers Truman Reavis and Gerald Reavis.
She is survived by her son Steven Moon, daughter-in-law Anna Marie Moon, her granddaughters Amanda and Jenna Moon of Richardson, Texas, her sister Edith Webster and her brother Earl Reavis of Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Restland Abbey Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
