We were so blessed to have such a sweet Auntie. We enjoyed the way she made each of us nieces and nephews feel so special. We are thankful she was able to come visit us on Christmas day a couple of years ago. We know she is in the arms of Jesus now. Praise the Lord for her life and influence.
I always admired Maxine but never more than when I was in an aerobics class with her at Northway Baptist Church years ago. There she was more than 20 years older working as hard (or harder) than all the rest. She was such an inspiration; giving tips when I was teaching VBS (vacation Bible school), always smiling, inviting our class of 3rd graders into her home when Bryce was still alive.. She was someone you did not forget and she will be greatly missed by all – I especially remember and pray for family members. Janice Shapiro
Aunt Maxine was very special to me and mine we shared a few good laughs just a few months ago. She always made everyone feel love and made sure we all knew who Jesus is and that he is the King of Kings. I am so sorry for your loss but she is home with God and her family. Love and prayers go to you left behind.

"Auntie" to my family was always the favorite aunt. I can't count the times she welcomed us into her home over the years with warmth, love and great hospitality. Even when she was barely able to get around in her home, she would be up bright and early fixing us bacon, scrambled eggs, toast and jelly. She touched innumerable lives over her life span in such a positive way. I am so very blessed to have known such a Godly example. She is now with my dear husband, Larry, her nephew, who passed only four months ago with non-smoker's lung cancer. I bet Larry met her at the pearly gate with a BIG hug and a smile! She has longed for the day she would be with Jesus and her loved ones for quite some time now. In His time, her dream has finally come true. We will always have the fondest of memories of Auntie.
