Michael Robert Bryant's Obituary
Mike (Moose) Bryant was born to Marion Robert and Dorothy Christine Bryant in Pasadena, Texas. He attended all local schools in Pasadena, especially at Sam Rayburn High School where he excelled at all sports. He received a scholarship to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA then later transferred to Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas. When his college life was complete, he moved to Dallas, Texas and worked a short time with family at the Margarita Factory. He then went to work with UPS where he continued his career until his recent passing. He made many close friends through his UPS Family. Mike loved his coworkers like his own family and had a very personal relationship with so many people for he never met a stranger. Mike (Moose) is survived by his wife, Meliea Ritchey; mother, Dorothy “MeMe Dot” Christine Bryant; son, Charles “Chase” Robert Bryant; daughter Megan Grace Bryant; step son, James “Jaime” C Ritchey II; sister, Sharon and James “Jim” Gourley; sister, Michelle “Shell” and Glenn Freese. Mike was a father to his late step son Brennan Tyler Ritchey. Also his beloved nephews, Cory Freese and family, James Gourley as well as his nieces, Shenafa Kenney and family, Erin Freese. Mike loved his children so deeply. The love Mike and Meliea shared was beyond words, they were constant supporters of one another’s larger than life existence and adventure that God put before them in their journey together. Mike enjoyed life to the fullest, his happiness was brought on by seeing and making everyone around him happy, laughing, smiling and loving every moment that God allowed him to have with us. He will be truly missed and anyone who had the pleasure to know him will have a constant void in their life and heart for he touched everyone so purely. .
