Mr. Michael David Carroll's Obituary
Michael David Carroll, 76, of Allen, TX, passed away February 4, 2023, with loving family taking turns watching over him. Mike was born December 1, 1946, in Wakefield, KS to Domar and Margret Carroll.
Mike grew up in a small town and attended the same school through elementary until graduating high school with sixteen classmates in 1964. Mike briefly pursued playing college football, but with his sports days behind him, he joined the Army National Guard, attended Basic Training and then completed his remaining Army duties while attending Emporia State University and graduated in May of 1970.
Upon graduation, he went into the Garment Manufacturing business and became an Assistant Plant Manager in 1970. He remained in the garment business for 30 years. When he retired, he was the Vice President of Dunbrook Manufacturing. His hobbies were fishing, gambling and golf. His greatest joy came later in life when he met Erika in 1994 and they were soon married in November 9, 1996. Mike’s time with Erika brought him joy, laughter, and many adventures. That union brought Mike a new family and took his family of two to a much larger and beautiful family.
Mike is survived by his wife Erika of Allen, TX, son Brian Carroll (Sara) of Olathe, KS, Angela Hill (Bryant), of Wolfe City and Joe Boggs (Patsy) of Fairview TX. His grandchildren include Mandy, Mallory, Chandler, Natalie, Brett, Payton and Laney. And his great-grandchildren include Kooper, Jasper, Chet and Aspen.

First United Methodist Church of Allen

There will be refreshments and deserts following the Celebration.
