Michael Wayne Clark, age 64, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. Born on October 22, 1961, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Michael was the beloved son of Ruby and Charles Clark. His life was a tapestry of devotion, curiosity, and creativity, woven together by the love he gave and the passions he pursued. He was a 1980 graduate of South Garland High School and went on to graduate from SMU in 1985.
Michael was a loyal and loving husband to Vera Clark, with whom he shared a life full of laughter, adventure, and unwavering partnership. He was a proud and dedicated father to David, Derrick, and Devin Clark, and a doting grandfather to Aiden, Lucas, and Abigail Clark, who brought him endless joy and pride.
A man of many talents and interests, Michael was known for his eclectic hobbies and vibrant spirit. He was a skilled blacksmith, a practitioner of tai chi, a lifelong student of computer sciences, and a self-proclaimed “foodie” who delighted in exploring flavors and sharing meals with those he loved. His curiosity and enthusiasm were contagious, and he inspired others to embrace life’s richness with open arms.
Michael is also survived by his sister Kathleen Puchalski, sister-in-law Georgia Clark, niece Angela Taylor, and nephew Charles Clark Jr., each of whom held a special place in his heart.
His legacy is one of warmth, wisdom, and wonder—a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
