Michael Hoyt Cowling's Obituary
COWLING, MICHAEL HOYT Born November 13, 1954 in Ft. Worth, TX and passed away November 3, 2008 in Irving, TX of brain cancer. He graduated from Richardson High School and was employed with the City of Richardson/North Texas Water District for approximately 33 years. Michael was a member of Dallas Homing Pigeon Club for many years, Karoke and Bowling Leagues. His nickname was ‘Birdman with the Red Pickup’. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Cowling, brother, Paul Cowling and grandparents, George and Birdie Shipley and Orville and Alta Mae Cowling. Michael is survived by his father, Orville Hoyt Cowling; brother, Joseph Floyd Cowling; daughters, Megan Jean Cowling Wilson, Rebecca Robin Cowling, Kayla Nicole Cowling and Amber Lynn Cowling; grandchildren, Dakota Wayne Wallace, Charlize Gabrella Wallace and Nicole Gallegos; aunts, Dorothy Nell Cowling, Nelda Shipley and Doris Shipley and numerous cousins. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 3:30 PM, Friday, November 7, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
