Exactly how I remember him as well, Dawn. Very smart, always smiling, and just a genuinely nice guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family.

Beautiful in Blue was purchased for the family of Michael Douglas Park.
10 years ago Michael walked into my office for an interview. I recommended we hire him. Over the next 10 years he became a valued friend and confidant in matters both professional and personal. The thing I will miss most is our constant and frank discussion about matters of Faith and Spirituality. In ways I cannot number he sharpened me during the 10 years I knew him.
In addition to being an outstanding Systems Engineer, Michael was a terrific person and family man. Michael was always talking about his wife and children. I know Michael is in heaven and I will truly miss him.
Mike (a.k.a. The New Guy) was always a joy to work with over the years at E-Systems/Raytheon. Always a smile. He will be greatly missed. – Stacy Gore
Each year we enjoyed getting to know Michael as he brought his children to our home for our grandson's birthday party. On Timothy's birthday this August, Michael brought Daniel. As the boys swam, he shared his heart with us about the illness. We prayed. Over the years, we have grown to love this dear man who clearly loves the Lord and his wonderful family. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing and pray for his precious family. What a great father and husband he was and our hearts go out to his family. We rejoice that he is with Jesus but know that he will be deeply missed. Jody and Paul Capehart
John and I have been thinking of you and your family all week. We were remembering the first times you dated and how your love grew back here in Illinois. We are grateful that we were a part of your lives and that we knew this young man who obviously grew into a man of skill, stature and integrity. Blessings on you as you celebrate his life and as you continue to be the person that fulfilled him in his life and work on earth. Ruth and John Peterson
