Michael Dane Freeman's Obituary
Michael Dane Freeman passed away peacefully in Irving Texas on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 with his wife by his side at the age of 67.
He was born August 21st, 1955 in Jacinto City, Texas. Michael’s family moved to Irving in the late 50’s where he grew up playing sports. Baseball was his favorite where he excelled as catcher and made All Star every year. He graduated from Irving High School in 1973.
After High School Mike attended the University of Texas where he joined Sigma Phi Epsilon and became chapter vice president and president during his tenor. He majored in Advertising which along with his vibrant and gregarious personality he enjoyed his career in Sales and Advertising. Mike’s favorite career move is when he owned and operated his own screen-printing business with his brother Chuck for twenty years. In 2002 he joined College House, a supplier of college and athletic wear, as the Texas sales representative.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Taylor Freeman of Irving, son Chock Freeman and Ashley of Irving, brother Don Freeman and wife Donna of Whitehouse TX and their children Laura, Lindsay, Luke and Sarah and their families, niece Melissa Freeman Moore and her children Jalen, Landon, Alexis, and Zuri, all of Irving, Nephews Austin Taylor and wife Madison of Princeton and Zachary Taylor of Euless, as well as many other nephews and nieces, cousins, and other family members.
Michael was proceeded in death by his father Louie Dred Freeman, mother Donna Beal Freeman, and brother Charles (Chuck) Robert Freeman.
Memorial Services will be held November 13th, 2022, at 2:00pm at Restland Funeral Home in the Wildwood Chapel.
