Michael and I were fraternity brothers at USC. He always had a kindness that was just part of who he was, it didn't come and go, it was in his personality, always there.
I had some tough things going on at that time in my life and he was always willing to talk.
A few times over the last thirty years he and I would touch base and talk about politics and that same kindess never left. He was a good man and I am terribly sorry for his ealy passing, but s happy that he gets to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all eternity.
