Michael Francis Marrinan's Obituary
Marrinan, Michael was born June 23, 1928 in County Clare, Ireland. Mike grew up in New York, where he met Virginia Mullusky, a registered nurse, in 1951. They married in 1953. They have two sons, Robert and James. Mike worked as a life insurance underwriter for Metropolitan Life Insurance, in New York, Republic National Life Insurance, Dallas, Texas, where he became an assistant vice-president with Republic National. He and his wife, Ginny moved to Houston, when Republic was bought out by American General. Later they moved to Lexington, Kentucky with Kentucky Central Life and at retirement they returned to Dallas, Texas. From 2005 until his death, April 13, 2013, he and Ginny resided in Sun City, Georgetown, Texas. Mike and Ginny were active members of St. Rita’s parish in Dallas, and upon return to Dallas, were active members at St. Monica Catholic Church. During the years of Mike and Ginny’s marriage, they shared many wonderful experiences in traveling over the years. He enjoyed spending time in the yard, he and Ginny both enjoyed spending time with their two boys and their families, Bob and Mary Ann and their son, Robert, and Jim and Rhonda, and their children, Charlotte and Sean with his wife Ashley and the two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Jennifer. Vigil service will be at St. Monica Catholic Church at 8:00 p.m. on Thurs April 18, 2013 and Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Monica on Friday, April 19, 2013.
