MICHAEL BILL MOLETT09-28-47 to 12-01-19OBITUARYMichael Bill Molett passed away at his home with his loving wife by his side in Dallas, Texas on the evening of Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the age of 72.Michael is predeceased by his parents, Bill and Virginia Molett, as well as, his brother, Major Craig Molett (USMC).Michael is survived by his wife, Maria Tsacrios Molett of 49 years. They were married in Tarpon Springs, Florida on August 28, 1970 at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral.Michael is fondly remembered by his daughters, Alexis Anderson and Tabitha Molett, his granddaughters Sophia and Alexandra Anderson, his son-in-law Matthew Anderson, sister Linnae Lockwood, his brother-in-laws John Tsacrios, Frank Tsacrios and Bruce Lockwood, sister-in-laws Felio Tsacrios and Pam Molett, nephews Matthew and Corey Molett, niece Tricia Molett, and great niece and nephew Samantha and Brody Molett.Michael enjoyed gardening, genealogy and spending time with his family.Michael was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, as well as Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity (Florida State University).Michael was born in Langdale, Alabama but lived all over the US as his father was in the US Navy. Michael graduated from Florida State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to receive a Master of Business Administration, as well as, Master of Education. Michael was a US Army Captain and served in Military Intelligence from 1969-1979. He went on to work in telecommunications, owned Maletta’s Coffeehouse, as well as, nursing home/senior care administrator before finally ending his career as a US History teacher in Wylie ISD.His legacy will not only be one of a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, but also as a mentor to children that have worked for him, as well as, those he taught. He was known as a kind, honest, hardworking, generous and noble man with a dry sense of humor. He will be truly missed.The Trisagion and funeral service will be held consecutively at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas, Texas at 13555 Hillcrest Road beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Burial with military honors to follow at Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. A luncheon will take place at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church following the burial.
