Michael Steven Shaw's Obituary
SHAW, MICHAEL STEVEN was born September 17, 1942 and passed away on April 11, 2014. He is survived by his son, Derek Shaw and mother, Jane Huber. Mike loved being in the sky and traveling the world. He loved being an airline pilot for many years. He had a passion for playing golf with his friends and making anyone who would listen, laugh and smile. He was a sports junkie and loved the Mavericks, especially watching with his son. He was also passionate about his support for United Cerebral Palsy and helping those in need. He lived a full life on his terms and in his own way and will be greatly missed by many. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ability Connection Texas (formerly United Cerebral Palsy) at 8802 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75235 or Patriot Paws at Patriot Paws Dogs 254 Ranch Trail, Rockwall, TX 75032. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 15th, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday April 16th, 2014 PM at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
