Michael Edwin Turpin's Obituary
On April 27th Michael Edwin Turpin was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be with God the Father and his loving and faithful wife of 54 years, Brenda Turpin. Mike was born in Dallas, TX on December 27th 1940. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Turpin, and his parents Edwin and Mercedes Turpin, and is survived by , two sons Kevin Turpin and wife Kathy, Matthew Turpin and wife Leigh Anne; four grandchildren, Emily, Natalie, Jake, and Josh, three loving siblings, Carol Turpin Bennett, Pam Turpin Crocker and husband, Mark Crocker, Ron Turpin and wife Fran, and extended close family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was a devout and faithful Christian; for many years he and Brenda were active in the Munger Place United Methodist Church, until no longer able to participate. He loved his family deeply and was very close to his three siblings. He worked at Mrs. Bairds for 35 years with a perfect driving record. Mike will be missed by many, as he had a unique and genuine curiosity about each of his friends and families lives which made everyone he knew feel uniquely special.
