Michael Charles Wofford's Obituary
WOFFORD, MICHAEL CHARLES 22, beloved son of Rose (Bevilacqua) and Michael Wofford, and devoted brother of Robert Wofford passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011. He fought a long and hard battle with addiction, and had his family and friends by his side with love and support along the way. He was born on November 2, 1988 in Dallas, TX. Michael was attending Collin County Community College and had graduated from Plano Senior High School in 2007. He had been working at Olive Garden for three years. His hobbies and interests included music, traveling, cooking, movies, watching sporting events, especially the Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers, working on his car and spending time with his family and friends. He was a compassionate and wonderful young man who will be greatly missed by those whom loved him. He will be welcomed into heaven by his grandfather, Vito Bevilacqua, Aunt Francine (Bevilacqua) Fiorenzo and Uncle Charles Bevilacqua. Besides his parents and brother, he is survived by his grandmother, Helen Leto Bevilacqua; grandparents, Charles and Jeanine Wofford; Aunt Mary (Bevilacqua) Zurn; Uncle Stephen and Aunt Mary Wofford and their children Chase, Stephanie and Burke; Aunt Susan (Wofford) and Uncle Michael Mead and their son Jason; and cousins Jennifer and Michael Rupinsky and Daniel Fiorenzo; as well as many dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pky. There will be a Vigil Service and visitation at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
