Mr. Michael Elie Young Sr.'s Obituary
YOUNG, MICHAEL ELIE SR., of Frisco, Texas – born October 7, 1954 in Dallas. Parents are Arles Julanne Young Jarrell and Henry Arnold “Elie” Young, both deceased. Worked for Austin Industries for 27 years. He was respected and admired by everyone who worked with and for him. He was an integral member of Austin’s workforce that built the American Airlines Center, the Texas Ranger’s Ballpark, Electronic Data Systems, and Terminal D at DFW among many other commercial buildings in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Austin, TX and Denver, CO. He LOVED Hank Williams, Sr. music. In the past few years, he enjoyed singing this music in Karaoke and was known by many as “Hank”. He will be missed greatly by many karaoke friends from Dallas to Lake Dallas. Michael loved all of his family very much and is survived by his wife, Debbie Young of Frisco and children, daughter, Michelle Walley & husband Mitchell; son, Michael Young, Jr. & wife Kelley; son, Nathan Young; step-daughters, Melissa Trowbridge, Jennifer Trowbridge and Susan Trowbridge; and step-son, Kevin Trowbridge. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody, Anthony, Destiny, Michaela, Alexis and Rachael. Survived by his sister, Julia Ann Neal; brother, Duwayne Young & wife Georgia; and sister, Marlene Farguson & husband Joe; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation from 6:30-8:30 PM, Friday, May 25, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
