Michiko Miyazaki Scott's Obituary
SCOTT, MICHIKO MIYAZAKI passed away June 12, 2013 in Garland, Texas. She was kind, caring and generous to all who knew her especially children. Born on March 30, 1928 to her parents Shoichiro and Yori Miyazaki, both have preceded her in death as well as one brother, Yoichiro Miyazaki. Early in life she worked for United Nations Command far east command in Japan, where she met and married her husband of 51 yrs, Donald Scott, who has also passed on August 12, 2008. She also worked as a Tele typist and proof reader for Garland Daily News during the 60’s later owning and managing a family business for over 50 yrs in Richardson, TX. She is survived by her brothers, Juntaro Miyazaki and wife, Hiroko, Yukijiro Miyazaki and wife, Meiko and their respective families and Chizuko and family, wife of late brother Yoichiro. She is also survived by her two loyal and loving sons, Mark Scott and family of Grapevine, TX and Wayne Scott of Garland, TX. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 16, 2013. Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, June 17, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers please give to your favorite charity.
