Mike Nguyen's Obituary
Mike Nguyen, a devoted husband, father, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at his home on January 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years old.
Born on June 30, 1951, Mike lived a life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His gentle nature, steady presence, and generous heart left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Su Duc Nguyen, and his mother, Ngai Thi Le, whose guidance and love shaped the man he became.
He was a devoted husband to Oahn Thi Nguyen, sharing a deep and enduring bond. He is survived by his children: his sons Allen “Layne” Nguyen and Kevin Nguyen, and Kevin’s wife Monica; and his daughter Marissa Day and her husband Brian. Mike also took immense joy in being a grandfather to Braylen Kai Day, Mila Reese Day, and Annaelise, whose laughter and energy brightened his life.
Mike found fulfillment in life’s simple pleasures. He loved gardening, tending to his plants with patience and care. He was passionate about cooking and was happiest when sharing meals with family. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, he cheered faithfully—through every high and every low.
