Mike Juarez Orona's Obituary
Mike Orona age 84 passed away peacefully on Saturday November 12, 2022. He was born in Lexington Texas June 8, 1938 to a loving Parents Marion Orona and Catalina Juarez.
He and his wife Jean Orona were longtime members of the New life Baptist Church in Dallas.
He served faithfully as a Deacon for 36 years. He also served in the Jail ministry with his brother-in-law Art Gomez. He went on countless missions trips with the purpose of bringing the words of Jesus Christ to people. He loved his growth group here in Dallas which he met with every Wednesday for 21 years.
He also enjoyed singing and playing musical instruments, such as the guitar, piano, harmonica, keyboard, and accordion. He was self-taught and incredibly talented. He had the biggest smile which matched his heart. He spreads God's love and wisdom every day.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and incredible church family and wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son Michael Orona and wife Kimber lee, Robert Orona and wife Michelle Orona, Samuel Orona, Rick Orona and wife Diananey and brother Joe Orona.
Grandchildren Michael Vincent Orona wife Roxanne, Brittani Orona Sellers Husband Samuel Sellers. Ryan Whalen Orona, Jesse Orona, Mateo Orona, Nick Orona, wife Sandy Tyler Orona, wife Monica, Daisy Orona, Ricky Orona, Mya Orona, Jacqueline Tinney husband Frank.
Great grandchildren June, Nina and Leo Lorenzo . He is survived by his brother Joe Orono, Lewis Orona, Mario Orona, sister -in-law Darlene Gonzalez, Sister-in-law Esmeralda Gomez, Alice, Dessie Orona, brother-in-law Philip Castillo and countless nephews and nieces who loved him dearly. He is now with his beloved wife Jean Orona in heaven forever. Amen
