Mildred Frances Bell's Obituary
Bell, Mildred Frances age 85, passed away on January 24, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Mildred was born August 11, 1928 in Denton, TX to Dugan and Dovie Ann Rainey, the 9th of 10 children. She married Ray Bell on November 5, 1950 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Denton. She and Ray met at North Texas University in Denton, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. Mildred was the mother of two and a homemaker most of her life. She was a valued member of her community and was actively involved with her church and various philanthropic organizations. She was preceded in death by her nine siblings as well as her son, Brad Bell. She is survived by her husband, Ray Bell; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Gus Benavidez; and her grandchildren who knew her as “granddolly”, Erin and Brandon Camp, Tara, Paul and Angie Benavidez. Mildred was the heart and foundation of her family, and the loving and bright light of her spirit will be missed by her family and many, many friends. A memorial service will be held at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church, 6000 Bentwood Trail, Dallas TX 75252 on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church.
