Mildred Evelyn Bradford's Obituary
Mildred Elven Bradford passed away on 4/23/15 in Kaufman TX. She has now joined her parents: Jack Lewis Back and Opal Helen Back and her husband Elmer William Bradford, her two sons: Elmer William Bradford Jr. and James Lewis Bradford, in heaven. She is survived by two daughter-in-laws: Laura Jean Bradford and Joetta Gayle Bradford, Five grandchildren : Kimberly Ann Bradford Isom and husband Tommy Isom, James Lewis Bradford Jr. and his wife Julie Lynn Bradford, Elmer William Bradford III, Laura Michelle Bradford Milekovich and husband James Milekovich, and Jacquelyn Marie Bradford, and Eight Great-Grandchildren: Nathan Lee Loper, James Robert Bradford, Haley Rayann Isom, , Jennifer Alexis Bradford, Haven Briann Isom, Ashley Anna-Nicole Milekovich, Alie Marie Milekovich and Joseph Lewis Bradford. Mrs. Bradford was Born in Dallas on New Years Day in 1921 and lived a long live surrounded by family and friends. She was a strong woman who lived life the way she wanted. A very talented artist, who loved ceramics, coloring, and crochet, she was very big in the Southwest Dallas Ceramic Club including serving as president for several years. Before settling down working for her son’s family business as first a book keeper then as a receptionist, Mrs. Bradford joined her family backstage in the theater world. She spent several years helping actors with wardrobes. Mrs. Bradford loved not only her blood family, but also the adopted family of all those who worked with her. She was affectionately known as Grandma to everyone. Her passing has left a hole in this world that will be hard to fill. There will be a viewing on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at 10 am followed by a gravesite service at 11am at Restland Funeral Home (Dallas, TX). Gravesite is located across from the Abby Chapel. Services will be conducted by Robert Jones and Kimberly Isom. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
