Mildred Lucille Fowler's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred Lucille Fowler, who left us on January 3, 2025, in Greenville, Texas, at the age of 94. Born on July 12, 1930, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, Mildred was one of six children born to Joe and Marie Ware.
Mildred was a devout Christian whose faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was an active and cherished member of her church community, dedicating countless hours to volunteering and teaching Sunday school. Her commitment to her faith and her church family was unwavering, and she touched many lives with her wisdom, and dedication.
Mildred's legacy is one of service, and devotion. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, and attention to detail.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Marie Ware; her husband, Harold Sr.; her son, Kenneth; her brother, Bill Ware; and her sisters, Dorothy Fleetwood and Mary Estes.
Mildred is survived by her son, Harold Jr.; her daughters, Barbara Elkins (David) and Janice Scogin; her brothers, Orville Ware and Bill Ware (Joey); her 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Snell, Angela Coleman, Jason Fowler, Amy Kyles, and Shane Lulloff; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
An open visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Monday, January 13th starting at 1 p.m.
Graveside services will follow after, at 3 p.m. in Restland Funeral Home's Garden of Compassion.
Mildred Lucille Fowler's life was a testament to the power of faith and the importance of community. She will be deeply missed but her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
