Mildred Harrison's Obituary
Mildred Harrison, age 88, of Dallas, Texas went to be with her LORD on April 7, 2018. She was the oldest child of Claude and Stella Goins, born April 24, 1929 near Vernon, Texas. Mildred graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas in 1946. She married Bobby Grey Harrison in 1949. They Celebrated 68 years of marriage.Mildred enthusiastically began her career as a Real Estate Broker in 1971, becoming Manager of the Duncanville office of Judge Fite Realty in the 1980’s and was elected President of the Southwest chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors in 1983.She enjoyed working with people, laughing with her family and friends over a cup of hot tea, consistently showing loyalty to her church community and above all loving her God. She will truly missed.Mildred is survived by husband Bobby Grey Harrison; sister, Sarah Laguna of New Orleans; two daughters, Janet Jones of Dallas, and Jennifer Powell of Garland; and three granddaughters, Mara Jones, Lauren Powell and Melissa Powell. She was preceded in death by her sister Helen Goins and her brother Delbert Goins.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, April 13, 2018. A funeral service for Mrs. Harrison will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Prestoncrest Church of Christ located at 6022 Preston Crest Ln, Dallas TX 75230.
