Mrs Mildred V. Hedges' Obituary
HEDGES, MILDRED ‘MIDGE’ V., age 93 was born February 24, 1914 and passed away December 9, 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard. Midge is survived by daughters, Holly Linskie and Haverly Hedges; son, Rusty Hedges and wife Betsy; grandchildren, Laura Quick, Jeff Linskie, Celeste DeLuca, Virginia Sullivan, Blair Hedges, Jared Hedges and Nathan Hedges; great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Preston Quick; Matthew, Michael, Jamie and Hallie Linskie; Kaeley and Jack DeLuca; Duncan and Miles Sullivan; sisters, Kirby Cordero and Mary Thompson; and brother, Warren McKenzie. She was a member of Rejabian Book Club and Custer Road United Methodist Church. Mildred attended Southwestern University and was the secretary of the SMU bookstore for 27 years. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Custer Road United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Friday Night Friends Respite Program at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, TX 75023.
