Mildred B. Huffhines' Obituary
HUFFHINES, MILDRED B. was born November 20, 1920 in Richardson, Texas and passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in McKinney, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Oliver M. Huffhines; and by three sisters. Mildred is survived by her children, Rebecca Hughey (Jim), Stanley Huffhines (Betty), Olivia Pearson (Bob); 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by her 107 year old sister, Billie Bailey. Mildred was the youngest of 5 girls and grew up in Richardson, Texas. She was an avid reader and loved her church. Mildred made all of her children’s clothing and worked a crossword puzzle daily. She retired from the Richardson School District. She will be remembered for the many crafts she made including blankets, needlepoint, cross-stitch, and her beautiful Christmas decorations. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel with burial in Highland Gardens at Restland.
