Mildred Jones' Obituary
Mildred Jones, of Mesquite, Tx, passed away on May 21, 2026 in Mesquite, Texas. She was known as a loving grandmother and a mother to all who knew her. She was born January 10, 1937 in Freestone County, TX to John Bates and Nonie Irene Richardson. Mildred raised generations of children and grandchildren, enjoyed crossword puzzles, praying for her family, cooking, jewelry, her Dallas Cowboys and the occasional cold beer. Mildred is survived by her daughters, Brenda Jones of Mesquite, Texas, Reanna Colson of Mesquite, Texas, her sons, Patrick Jones of Victoria, Texas, Keith Jones of Forney, Texas, and Paul Jones of Mesquite, Texas, James Colson of Mesquite, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Burnett, Amanda Burnett, Teresa Burnett, Zachary Jones, Collin Jones, Mary Jones, Catalina Sigala, and Makaylia Jones. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Jones, sons Timothy Jones, and John Jones. Visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2026 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Restland Dallas Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Dallas Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville, Ave, Dallas, Texas 75243. Following the conclusion of service, internment will be held at 2:30pm located at Eureka Cemetery at 499 SE County Rd 3130, Corsicana, Texas 75109.
