Mildred Leila Locke's Obituary
Locke, Mildred Leila Bond was born June 8, 1917 in Dallas, Texas and passed away December 21, 2009 in Richardson, Texas. Mildred was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1934. While attending she was a member of the the Good Scholarship Club, Early Dallas History Club, and the Home Economics Club. She was one of the first members of the Dallas Athletic Club. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge. Mildred loved to travel with family and friends. She had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh. She will be missed. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Austin Locke, and two children, Dennis Austin Locke and Linda Gail Locke Tiller. Mildred is survived by her five grandchildren: Denise Anne Locke de Torre and her husband, Antonio; Johnny Austin Locke and his wife, Debbie; Dal Austin Locke and his wife, Antonia; Sondra Lynn Golzad and her husband, Ali, and Ryan Burgess Tiller. She has ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at 11:00 AM, Restland Memorial Park.
