Mildred Martin's Obituary
MARTIN, MILDRED “MARTI” YARBOROUGH, Born February 25, 1922 in Milford, TX and passed away on September 7, 2007 in her home in Carrollton, TX. Mrs. Martin owned and operated the Enchanted Tower Beauty Salon in Farmers Branch, TX for over 30 years. She was a member of several organizations and a charter member of the Dallas Northwest Does #218. Mrs Martin was married to Ed Martin for 55 years before his death on February 24, 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Tula Yarborough; brother, Lambert Yarborough; sisters, Paulene Turska and Lillian Clayton; grandson, Jeffrey Joplin, and son-in-law Mark Calhoun. Survivors include daughters, Cynthia Calhoun and Joyce Joplin; son-in-law, Jim Joplin; sister, Lou Grant; brother, Ernest Yarborough; grandson, Joel Joplin; great-grandsons, Josh Joplin and Jarrod Buckner, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank Roselle Miranda for her 4 years of being a loving caregiver and to all of the wonderful caring therapists, caregivers, nurses, and hospice staff. Family will receive friends Sunday, September 9, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be Monday, September 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
