Mildred Virginia Miller's Obituary
Mildred Virginia “Jen” Miller, age 90 of Cedar Hill Texas, entered Heaven’s gates on Sunday, September 9, 2018. “Jen” graduated from Sunset High School, before attending Texas State College for Women. She was an active member in both her school and community, a loving wife and mother, and a devoted Christian “Proverbs 31” woman. Jesus, family and friends were Jen’s delight. She grew up spending cherished times with her sisters, Janette and Billie, and parents, Della and Noal, “Mom and Pop”. On March 7, 1953 Jen married the love of her life, Danny Lee Miller, at Calvary Baptist Church of Oak Cliff, where she was women’s Sunday School Director for many decades. Wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jen was predeceased by her daughter Sandy Miller, and Jen’s two sisters Janette Chamberlain, and Billie Dingus. Jen is survived by her loving husband Danny Lee Miller, as well as her daughter Susan Logan and husband Mike, son Mike Miller and wife Sheila, and son Scott Miller. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeff Logan and wife Shelley, Jennifer Dennis and husband Kurt, and Nicholas Miller. Jen had six great-grandchildren, A.K., Gus and Hutch Logan, and Lauren, Allison and Brooke Dennis. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 3:00 PM, visitation 2:00 PM, at Restland-Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas.Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Virginia Miller have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
