Mildred Geraldine Rogers' Obituary
ROGERS, MILDRED GERALDINE KINCANNON “JERRY” Born July 11, 1920 in Paradise, TX, died Dec. 16, 2008 in Plano, TX, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was preceded in death by parents William Henry and Nettie Olivia Kincannon and husband of 51 years Andrew Dayton Rogers. Jerry was a graduate of Texas A & I University and taught elementary school in Texas and Louisiana for 29 years. For 20 years she worked alongside her husband in their business, Andy Rogers Sales. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ in San Antonio and Richardson East Church of Christ in Richardson. She is survived by daughter, Mildred Rogers of San Antonio; daughter and son-in-law, Dan and Andrea Rogers Landry of Plano, TX; and grandchildren, Christopher and Danielle Landry of Little Elm, TX; Dayton Landry of Plano, TX; and Jeff and Melissa Landry Stringer of The Colony, TX. Graveside service and burial will be held at Ft. Sam National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 1:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medina Children’s Home, Richardson East Church of Christ CARE CORPS or the charity of your choice.
