Mildred Schmidt, 84, was born on May 19, 1933 in Sherman, Texas, and passed away on April 5, 2018 in Plano, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Schmidt; daughter, Brenda Palmer; parents, Estelle Thomas and Hughie McKinney; and brother, Hughie McKinney, Jr. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Henry; grandson Josh Henry, wife Erin, and great grandson Garrett Henry; granddaughter, Kayli Head and husband Derek; and grandson, Colin Steger and wife, Natalie.Mildred was a native Texan, who married her high school sweetheart. She and Edward were married for 63 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service for Ms. Schmidt will be on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
