Mildred Bullard Sharp's Obituary
Mildred was born April 6, 1924 and passed away July 24, 2011 in Highland Village, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Sharp, grandson’s Jason Sare and Austin Sare and also by Jack Bullard. She is survived by her daughters, Tana Nichols, Denise Fairchild and husband, Larry, Lisa Fisk, Dena Leipsic; grandchildren, Lee Nichols, Lori Buck and husband, Jeff, Jaime Hudson, Dustin Hendry, Joey Leipsic; great-grandchildren, Tana Nicole Nichols, Kevin and Kyle Nichols. Mildred was an extremely intelligent woman, way beyond her time. She had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. She was a voracious reader. She loved reading History, biographies, and fiction. She was reading up until she passed. She was also very artistic and creative. Mildred was a talented seamstress, and created many beautiful, prom dresses, Easter clothes, cheerleader outfits and the “ever popular” net petty coats. Although she had some challenges and battles to overcome, both physically and mentally, she always loved and adored her family. She wanted only the best for her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her fantasies was for all her family to live in a big house in the country, grow flowers and have a vegetable garden, with lots of pets and animals. That dream will come true one day, our dear Mother, when we are all together again in heaven. Mom, Granny, you will be missed!! Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
