Mildred Simeone's Obituary
Mildred (Millie) A Simeone of Garland, Tx passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 12, 2026.
Millie was born June 29, 1942 to Nicholas & Mildred Bodino(Perretta) in Jersey City, NJ. She lived her childhood and half her adult life in Jersey City where she met and married her beloved husband Vincent (Vinny) Simeone. They were married on June 1, 1963. Together they raised their two daughters, Maria Simeone Bodino and Heather Simeone. At the age of 42 Millie moved to Garland, Tx with her husband and two daughters where she resided upon her passing.
Millie lived a vibrant and fulfilled life and was loved by her family and friends. In her early years Millie worked for Steven’s Institute, Western Electric and King Lincoln Mercury, where she won an award for first Women Sales Person to sell over 1 Million Dollars. She also owned her own Women’s Clothing Business on Westside Ave. in Jersey City. Upon moving to Texas, Millie ventured out on her own in many different businesses. She catered for special events, baked and decorated custom cakes and her last business before retiring was Co-Owning an Estate Liquidation Service.
On May 7, 2016 Millie married her current husband Lonnie Long who she spent her remaining years with.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother & Grandmother. She loved to sing and dance, was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Vinny and her parents Nicholas and Mildred Bodino.
She leaves behind her husband, Lonnie Long. Two daughters, Maria Bodino & Heather Simeone. Grandchildren, Nicholas, Katelyn and Cannon, Great Grandchildren, Dominic and Dawson. Her sisters, Joyce Scarpa and Lorraine Delbert and Brother-in-law Dominick Scarpa.
In leu of flowers the family asks to send donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Memory of Millie Simeone.
