Milford Sterry's Obituary
Milford Sterry, born on January 15, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, at the age of 76.
He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
Milford married the love of his life, Janelle Sterry, on March 17, 1990. Together, they shared many wonderful years until Janelle’s passing June 29, 2020. Milford was the beloved son of Nellie Sterry, who preceded him in death.
Milford had a passion for spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, and being #1. His love for these activities brought joy to his life and to those around him.
He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Cooper and her husband Robert Cooper, and Carolyn Anderson and her husband Tory Anderson. Milford also leaves behind his brother, Gilbert Sterry, and his wife Lois Sterry, and his sister, Lonita Stuart, and her husband John Stuart.
Milford was a proud grandfather to Cory and Cora Brainard, Anthony and Shelbi Martino, Michael Martino, Samantha Martino, Mathew Brainard, and Christopher Brainard. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Rhett, Ryker, Ivey, Mason, Aubrey, and Noelle. His niece Amber, and nephews Wes and Gilbert, will also miss him dearly.
Milford was preceded in death by his beloved wife Janelle Sterry, his parents Nellie and Johnny Sterry, and his brothers Johnny and Stanley.
Milford’s legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
