Milton Edward Beamer's Obituary
Milton Edward Beamer, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Mr. Milton Beamer Sr. and Miss Nedra Beamer on July 4, 1932, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Milton leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
He served during the Korean War on the " YTB-525 Wabanquot " as a Seaman 1st Class Engine Room. After serving in Navy, he moved to Kansas City, MO where he met and married Alice Verburg on June 8, 1962. They lived in Overland Park, KS until moving to Richardson, TX in 1970.
His work included: GM, Delco Battery, Roller Skating teacher at the El Torean and New York Life. Then in 1968 he joined his father's Medical, Surgical & Dental Supply Company. Their territory went from the Mexican border to the Canadian Border. He retired in 1992.
He was a member and served on the Council of Ascension Lutheran Church, Garland; FMCA; Freightliner's Club; National RV Club and Seeker's & Keeper's Hallmark Club
He was preceded in death by parents Milton E. & Nedra C. Beamer and beloved friends, Michael Rossi, Janet and Verl Bower.
Milt loved to read, play golf, do puzzles and especially loved traveling with Alice throughout the United States in their motorhome.
He is survived by wife, Alice A. Verburg Beamer, son Jeffrey M. Beamer, daughter Nancy A. Husson (husband Sean), brother Michael Beamer (Annette), grandchildren Megan A. Benavides (Jack), Nicole K. Roberts (Jack), Allison R. Acevedo (Victor), Ryan Husson, Cameron Beamer, Brendan Beamer, Sarah Beamer, great grandchildren Peyton, Harper, Oliver, Sawyer Benavides, Benjamin & Madelynn Roberts, Mia Acevedo, two nieces and two nephews.
Milt will be laid to rest at DFW National Cemetery, at a future date.
