Minnie Bono Miller's Obituary
Minnie Bono Miller, 84, peacefully passed away on February 13, 2021 in Richardson, Texas. The world has lost an amazing, loving and tough woman.
Minnie was born in Dallas, Texas on January 8, 1937 to parents Sam Bono and Minnie Bono. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Bill Hafertepe, her second husband Frank Miller and siblings. She is survived by her children Dennie Hafertepe, Sam Hafertepe, Anna Williams married to David Williams and Rickey Hafertepe. Step children Michael Miller, Janet Miller, and Susan Pearson. Grandchildren Tony Williams, Sam Williams, Chris Williams, Shannon Williams, Garret Sam Hafertepe (deceased), Ellie Hafertepe, Chris Hafertepe, Michael Hafertepe, Nicholas McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel, Jamie Miller and many great grandchildren.
Anyone who knew Minnie loved her. Minnie was a great mother who was loving to her children. She owned and ran an electronics repair business. Her and her second husband Frank Miller were involved with their church, St. Patrick's Church in Dallas, Texas. They were also involved with the Alhambra charity. She would bake many pies for the Jamboree event it held annually. Minnie and Frank went to clown school together. She was Tutti-Frutti and he was Bobo.
Minnie may best be known for her cooking. Being Italian, she loved with food. Every Christmas Minnie and Frank would host Christmas dinner at their house for anyone who came. They would easily serve 200 people. It was an all day affair. Minnie will be missed by all whose life was touched by her.
Her funeral will be held by Restland on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend the graveside service.
