Mitford "Bud" Price's Obituary
Known to many as Bud, Mitford Dale Price went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 86.He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitford L. and Grace Price, brother Berwin Price, and sister Betty Daughterty, and his former wife Betty Marie.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Kay Price and children, Michael and Sondra Price of Denton, Texas, Debbie and Jeff Main of Stillwater, Minnesota, and Elizabeth and Adib Asrabadi of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and sisters-in-lawBud and Mary Kay were long time members of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas. Bud served 13 years in the Armed Forces, 2 in the Navy and 11 in the Air Force. He was a Special Agent in the O.S.I. in the Air Force, he also worked for the Pinkerton Agency.In 1968 he and Mary Kay started their own business, Sentinel Security Services, Inc. where he served as President until 2000. In retirement, Bud enjoyed golf, traveling, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a well-loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who never met a stranger.Visitation for family and friends will be at Restland Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28 from 11 AM-12 PM followed by a 12:00PM chapel service, in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
