Modena Hatchett Allen's Obituary
Born on January 3, 1917 in Sulphur Springs, TX and passed away on June 2, 2008 in Dallas, TX. Modena is a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. She worked for Republic Bank for more than 35 years. She was a member of Casa Linda UMC, and was known for her sense of humor and her giggle. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Allen, her sister, Farice Smith, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hatchett. She is survived by her sisters, Helen Simpson and Beth Perez; brother, John Hatchett, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Wednesday June 4, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 12:30PM Thursday June 5, 2008 in Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Casa Linda UMC at 1800 Barnes Bridge Road, Dallas, TX 75228, or a charity of your choice.
