Monnie Faye Holt was born on May 4, 1929 in Doniphan, Arkansas and passed away on September 12, 2016 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Monnie married Morris Holt on April 1, 1950. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Eugene Holt; and sister, Rebecca Jowers. Survived by son, Steve M. Holt and spouse Myke; daughter, Jana M. Allen-Bishop and spouse Rex; brothers, Dr. Don Benton, Rev. Jim Benton, and Fletcher Jowers; grandchildren Hannah Murchison, Holly Henning, Jennifer Allen, and Samuel Allen; and 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
