Monte Linda Parrish's Obituary
Monte Linda Parrish, age 69, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. She was born May 9th, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1972 and East Texas State University in 1976. Linda was a long-time member of Northway Christian Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed sharing a meal with family and friends and had a passion for reading.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Lester Neil Parrish and Willie Mae Parrish, grandmother; Nellie Pike, siblings; Dorcas Lasater, Jerry Parrish, Bobby Parrish and brother-in-law Ron Anderson.
She is survived by her sister; Judy Anderson, sisters-in-law; Marilyn Parrish and Cathy Parrish, nieces and nephews; Cindy Robertson (Jim), Kevin Taylor (Michael), Kelli Wilson, Scott Parrish, Jim Parrish, Michelle Parrish Reeves, Jill Sadler (Roger), Gary Lasater (Nelley), Craig Lasater (Karen), in addition to many other family members and chosen family.
Graveside services will be held at Restland Cemetery on Friday May 17th at 12pm followed by a memorial service and reception at Northway Christian Church at 2pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Linda Parrish to Northway Christian Church or a charity of your choice.
