Monty Leon Walker's Obituary
Monty Walker, 78, of Mesquite Texas passed away on January 16th, 2026. He was born on October 10th, 1947, and was a devoted husband to Donna Walker and a loving father to Susie Bearden, Rachel Bishop, and Kevin Walker.
After graduating from Bryan Adams high school Monty went into the army and served in the Vietnam war. He worked for Proctor and Gamble and retired from USPS main facility in Dallas, Texas.
Monty was a born again Christian and raised his children in church. He loved riding his Harley and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Walker of 56 years, his children, Susie Bearden, Rachel Bishop and Kevin Walker, his grandchildren, Breanna Bone, Morgan Lowe, Zachary Lowe, and Ayden Walker, and great grandchildren, Connor Bone, Benjamin Monty Bone and Hudson Lowe.
Monty‘s Legacy will live on in the lives of those close to him. His deep morals and superb character touched all who knew him. We find comfort through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
