Morton Stitsky's Obituary
Morton Stitsky, born 26 November 1927, in Manhattan, New York and passed away 19 January 2015, in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Anna, loving wife, Jo and son, Jerry as well as siblings, Stanley Stitsky and Flora Robin. Survived by children, Stella & Carol, David, Gail & Larry, and Leo; grandchildren, Bailey and Garrett; and all his nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2015 for a visitation from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas, 75243. A service and graveside ceremony will be held immediately after. Morton’s devotion to family was his life’s work in addition to his loyalty to his long-time customers in his role as “Mr. Morty”, owner of Morty’s Shoes in Oak Lawn. We will all feel the void of his passing for the rest of our lives. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
