I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Muhammad Ali Mazidi after approximately a year. For over a decade, his textbook has been an invaluable resource for my Microprocessors course. Responding to students' requests, I'm considering transitioning from PIC microcontrollers to Arduino microcontrollers, and I had hoped to seek his guidance on this endeavor.
The news of his passing is truly disheartening. I had the privilege of meeting him at the ASEE Annual Conference, and our conversations left a lasting impression on me. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also a genuinely kind and approachable individual.
May his soul find eternal peace. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. Muhammad Ali Mazidi's contributions to the field will undoubtedly continue to inspire and guide generations of learners.

I would like to thank Mr. Mazini for his dedication to teaching others. I never met him. However, through his books, I was able to learn and grow as a professional. I'm sure that many more like me are thankful for his books and his ability to present hard concepts in a simpler way.
Just sharing with my daughter about what a wonderful teacher I had at Devry and googled Mr. Mazidi’s name and found out about his passing. I went back and saw him a couple of times after graduation. A great teacher with vast knowledge of computer science and technology. I’m sad to hear about his passing.
I'm so sorry to hear this sad news and my thoughts go out to the family and friends. I was a student at DeVry back in 1990. Professor Mazidi taught me so much about digital and computer design that I still use today. My sincere condolences. Greg B.

Muhammad Ali was a very generous man. I know so many people that he helped in the community. When I immigrated to US - in TX, he drove me to places when his schedule allowed because I did not drive then. Many more actions of selfless service. Prayers for the progress of his soul.

His remarkable services to BIHE and its Computer Department, his commitment to the education of the younger generation, and in particular his resolute determination to support Baháʼí students in his homeland will be dearly remembered. His scholarly works which have been widely used and appreciated by many renowned universities including those in Iran, remains a great source of learning to many generations of students.

Massoud and I both knew Muhammad Ali for many decades. It was always a great, rewarding pleasure to exchange ideas with him. He showed wonderful insight into social and global issues. We will deeply miss the depth of his knowledge and his dedication to his faith.
