Mun Suk Cho's Obituary
Mun Suk Cho, age 75, passed away on January 2, 2023, in Garland, TX. He was born on September 30, 1947 in Korea to parents Chang Hwa Cho and Yun Shim Chon. He was the first son of eight siblings.
He was a devoted husband and father. He married Park Soon Hui on December 5, 1974, who passed away December 6, 2020. They immigrated to the US in December 1979 and lived in Garland for over 40 years.
He enjoyed gardening and loved fixing things, always offering to help others. He was a diligent worker. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being surrounded by extended family. He loved music and singing. He loved being around his grandkids.
Mun Suk Cho is survived by daughter, Elaine Cho and son-in-law Drew Shaw; son, Dae Bong Cho; daughter, Eun Mi Sumners and son-in-law Allen Sumners, along with two granddaughters, Evelyn Nari and Lydia Sooji.
There will be a Visitation from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. Pastor Charles Jung will speak beginning at 6:30pm.
His Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park with burial to follow at 11:00am in the Gabriel Section.
