Murel Jane Hightower, 81, was born on March 3, 1936 to William Ernest and Elsie Severs Patrick in Graham, Oklahoma. She passed away on November 2, 2017 in Duncanville, Texas.Murel is survived by her sister, Elsie June Brown and husband Clyde, of Duncan, Oklahoma; and four generations of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; Ten siblings, Virginia Battershell, Lois Fowler, Mike Patrick, Jesse Patrick, Pat Patrick, Jerry Patrick, Burl Patrick (twin brother), Molly Wright, Bernice Patrick-Nichols, Ernestine Patrick-Segar, and loving husband, Harrill Haddix Hightower, Jr.Visitation will be on Friday, November 10, from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Saturday, November 11 at 12:30 PM at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A reception will follow.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
