Muriel Florence Kennan's Obituary
Muriel (Merle) Fitzgibbon Kennan (95) of Dallas, Texas passed away on March, 2018 and into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Merle was born on August 31, 1922 in Moore Township, Ontario, Canada to Florence and Neil Pringle.She is preceded in death by her husbands, Noel Fitzgibbon and Irl Kennan. She is survived by two sisters; son, James Fitzgibbon and wife LaDonna; daughter Sandra Mullins and husband Bill; daughter Pam Fitzgibbon; as well as three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.Merle loved her nursing at Gaston Hospital, some private duty and as a nurse at Hockaday School. She was a member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. She was most noted for her love of gardening and flowers. Heaven is welcoming her to the beautiful garden of the Lord. Muriel will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.The funeral service for Ms. Kennan will be on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to: Park Cities Presbyterian Church, located at 4124 Oak Lawn Avenue Dallas, Texas 75219.
