Murrel Maxine Schulze's Obituary
Murrel Montgomery Shulze, 87, of Dallas, Texas passed away May 12th, 2001. She was born January 27th, 1924 in Arlington, Texas to David & Bertha Campbell Montgomery. After graduating from Crosier Tech High school, in Dallas, Texas, she went on to work for many years at Oil Well Supply Co., which later became U.S. Steel. Murrel loved her family and was a devoted wife to her husband of 62 years, Wilbert T. Schulze. They have been members of Zion Lutheran Church of Dallas for many years. They spent many fun filled years, after retirement, at their lake house at Toledo Bend Lake. Murrel’s sweet smile and loving ways will be missed and remembered by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her sisters, Lena Wilson & Marjorie Roberson. She is survived by her loving husband, Will, and 2 more sisters Florence Broom of Tyler, Texas & Pebba McCollom & husband Jimmy of Plano, Texas. She is also survived by 2 brothers-in-law & 2 sisters-in-law of Giddings, Texas & many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her niece Carolyn Hersh for her loving care of her Aunt Murrel this past year & a half. The family would also like to convey special thanks to her care giver Pam McClintock, from Visiting Angels of Dallas, for her care and devotion these past few weeks & to the staff at the Juliette Fowler Home, especially Anne, Lois, Shanda, & Sabrina, & Faith Presbyterian Hospice. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
