Murry Edward LeVelle's Obituary
On Monday, July 18, 2022, Murry Edward LeVelle, loving husband and father, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven at the age of 91. Born September 18, 1930, Murry was a lifelong resident of Texas. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School. He attended Texas A & M University before joining the Navy. Murry was a veteran of the Korean War and spent most of his service time as a photographer on the USS Princeton. After the Navy he returned to Dallas to attend SMU and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to receive his MBA from the University of North Texas. He spent most of his working life at Collins Radio, later to become Rockwell International.
Murry is remembered for his gentleness and generosity to everyone. He was always kind and always serving others. He will be missed by everyone who knew him for his loving spirit.
Murry was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Alfred, brother James, and his wife Marguerite. He is survived by his wife Gerry and by daughters, Suzanna and her husband John, and Misty and her husband Bruce, and step-children Randy Summers and wife Candice, Brent Summers and wife Louann, and Whitney Henderson and husband Jack, as well as 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Murry Edward LeVelle will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 200 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
